Anybody up for some strawberry shortcake?
We've got tons of strawberries here! I've heard many statistics about this area being the # (?) strawberry capital of the world...but it's never the same number, so I'll refrain from misguiding any of you readers. Suffice it to say, I counted 35 of these little strawberry stands on our way to church the other day.
Come and visit! We'll treat you to some strawberries!

don't tempt me, crystal....you have no idea what u ask.....strawberries???? when i get done with them, they'll wonder if they ever HAD any strawberries in the first place!! ;-)

My freezer is getting empty! (of strawberries) I have a few bags I think and 1 more container of freezer jam! I think I got over my nightmare of freezing strawberries by now. (2 years later...lol) We got TONS then! Have fun & eat some for me!
Hey, maybe we'll come and help you all there in Mexico! That's one thing that is outrageously expensive here. I think we've had strawberries 2 or 3 times since we've been here, because I would have had to go without an arm and leg to have them! :-) Looks yummy. If you have any leftovers, throw them our way. :-)
