Christmas at Country Cupboard

We recently (Sat. night) went to "Country Cupboard" to celebrate Christmas with my Dad's Dad's side of the family...I didn't take very many pictures, but I did enjoy the food!!

This is one of the many trees that gets decked out for Christmas.

Kyle was enjoying wearing Pappy's hat and I thought I would take a picture of him by the tree, but then he fell...in the tree. This is the resulting picture!

A Taste of Spanish

This past Sunday morning, we had the privilege of being at the Lebanon, PA God's Missionary Spanish Church. It was a wonderful service, but afterwards, we were able to enjoy Mexican food! Yum!

This is the family that hosted our Mexican meal.

Yummy beef tostadas!

Pics-n-Clips

Last Friday while we were in Indianapolis, we got a call from a Penn View grad and fellow classmate. What a surprise! We were able to get together with Jorge and Dorcas (Mann) Garcia and spend some "quality time" at Cracker Barrel!! THANK YOU!!!

And then...if you've been to visit the Davis Doodle blog recently...you'll see a similar picture of "blogging buddies"! I'm not sure if my husband did a better job of making us look young and skinny, but...at least with head shots, we can pretend everyone thinks we are skinny!! Ha! Ha!

I don't know about the "young" part, but we look kind of "studious" maybe?!! Okay...wishful thinking!!

A Peek At This Past Week

Here's a look at our temporary "home" where we are staying here in Indiana. And for clarification, we only have ONE room, not the whole building!!

The beginning of this past week, we had absolutely beautiful weather...it felt like spring! The kids really liked getting outdoors and playing! Well, Kyle did...I'm not sure Taylor knew the difference!!

Michael ~ "Working hard, or hardly working?"

Tuesday night, we visited a Spanish church in Indianapolis. This is Michael with their pastor, Angel. We first met him at I.H.C. five years ago. He has a wonderful congregation!

We're in the middle of our deputation tour and it took us awhile to find internet access from where we are staying here in the Indianapolis area. Well anyway, I wanted to post pics of our time in Michigan.

We spent a week with the Siegel's - they were a wonderful host and hostess. Thank You for everything...we really enjoyed our time with you!!

This is a pond on their property.

Michael and Kyle enjoyed trying their hand at fishing...no luck!!

We took a trip to Cabela's in Dundee - Kyle really enjoyed seeing the animals!

Youth Challenge and other happenings

For not being quite as young as we used to be, we have survived Youth Challenge 2007!! It was very good...inspiring speakers, good singing...

Other "fun" things we've done recently in our lives included singing for a wedding last Friday night.

As you can tell, we were definitely into this song :-)

The happy couple - Nathan and Sarah (Miller) Seeley!!!!!!!!!
