Okay...for two of the people who commented...here's a recipe for you to try out. And I was going to make a comment about my sister-in-law not commenting, but since she finally commented... ;)

CHEESY SAUSAGE STROMBOLI
(This was originally taken from a Taste of Home magazine, but of course, I changed and added a few things to suit my own taste.)

Ingredients:
1 lb. pork sausage
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 lb. sliced provolone cheese
Pepperoni
1 pck. pizza crust mix
Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top

Directions:
1. Brown sausage until no longer pink; drain and let cool.
2. Mix pizza crust mix according to package directions.
3. Add seasonings, egg, and shredded cheese to sausage mixture.
4. Roll out pizza dough to form a rectangle.
5. Place a layer of sliced cheese onto middle of pizza crust. Then add pepperoni and half of the sausage mixture. Repeat another layer. (see picture below)

6. Fold dough over the filling. Start with the ends first, then fold the long sides last. (see picture below)

7. Carefully flip the stromboli over and place on a greased baking sheet.
8. Cut diagonal slits on the top of the stromboli.
9. Brush tops with butter or egg if desired, then sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top.
10. Bake at 375* for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping...and ENJOY!!!!

Inspiration and Church

I think I should take a poll about what to blog about...nothing has been coming to mind these days. So anyway, if you could send some inspiration my way, please leave a comment! :)

Here's a post to leave you with until I receive my "inspiration"!

Part of Michael's school requirements are to attend a Spanish Church once a week. This morning began our trek to the Rio Bravo Bible Methodist Church across the border in Mexico. Thank-You to Jonathan and Renee Springer who went with us and "showed" us the way!! ;)

The Church.
Kyle decided he wanted to go up front with the other kids when they presented what they had learned during Sunday School.
Jonathan and Renee (and Korey) conversing with the pastor after church.

A "This and That" Post

Yes, we have made it home safely. Still trying to figure out where to put everything, though...

So anyway, here's a few misc. pictures from recent days.

While in PA, we were able to go visit "Aunt Brenda" one day while she was at work.
We were feeling a little sad on Sat. because we were missing the great annual PA Farm Show H.S. Rodeo...but, we found a little down-home country "rodeo" right down the road from us. There weren't very many people, or contestants, but it was something entertaining to do!

Kyle climbed the fence...he definitely needs a cowboy hat and boots down in this country!!

Kyle also had great fun pulling somebody's dog around on a leash!! (poor dog :)

Today starts a new chapter in our lives and also a new schedule. Michael starts first semester of full-time language school, while I continue with the Rosetta Stone and try to get all the housework done and still manage to keep the kids under control!!!! ;) If you think of it, keep us in your prayers!!

My little Penn State boys

My sister got Kyle and Taylor these cute little Penn State outfits. We all wore Penn State yesterday in hopes that we could show our support to our team playing in the Rose Bowl...

(Too bad you can't see the cute little lion logo on the back of Taylor's shirt!)
...unfortunately, we lost! Boo! Hoo!

Christmas Quilt

I really hate to say how long I've been working on this crazy quilt...but, now that's it's done, I'll forget all about the "it's taken years" part!!!

Some of the quilting detail...
