A Time To Celebrate

Yesterday was Michael's birthday!
We had a special day together as a family.

We started our day off with a breakfast/brunch of homemade sticky buns, fresh pineapple, and a creamsicle slushie. Yum!I used this recipe here for the sticky buns (minus the orange zest and chopped pecans) and then I added an icing glaze for on top. Below is my recipe for the Creamsicle Slushie.

Creamsicle Slushie
2 cups Orange Juice
1 cup Lemon-Lime Soda
2 snack packs Vanilla Pudding
15 Ice Cubes

Pulse in a blender. Serve.
(Fills approx. 4 drinking glasses)

For supper, we treated ourselves to Pizza Hut pizza, some PA Middlesworth Barbeque chips, Mexican Coke, and I made a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. Aaahhh...such bliss!

Since it was a special day, my camera came out from hiding, and we snapped some other pictures besides birthday celebrations.

Love the pics. So glad that camera has come out of hiding. I also am glad that the now "old man" enjoyed his day :) Missed being with you all for the event, but glad that it was festively celebrated, none the less. Love and miss ya!

A happy birthday! My how the years
pass so quickly. We enjoy the pictures and updates. Keep them coming. We love you and are praying for your ministry.

Didn't you have a serenade for your birthday like your neighbor did?

A very late belated happy birthday to Michael. I just came across your blog again! I remember when Michael was born and the first time when his Mom brought him into Chapel or Wednesday night prayer meeting at Penn View. Where have the years gone??
