Here are seven random things about me...
1. I would like to go to Hawaii for our 10th wedding anniversary.
2. I had scoliosis (curvature of the spine) when I was a teenager and had to wear a back brace for 2 years.
3. My favorite form of relaxation is a good, hot bubble bath and a good book!
4. My dream career as a child was to become a surgeon or doctor. (I'd still love it!)
5. I am an EMT, but have let my certification expire.
6. I have changed light fixtures (you know, messing with wires) and forgotten to turn off the electric!
7. (If you're a guy-don't feel obligated to read this...and don't say I didn't warn you.) Once on my way home from work, being in a hurry, I used a "nursing breast pump" while driving!
Oh yeah, I love to eat if that counts for anything!!!
So there you have it!
I also wanted to show you a picture of a quilt I made to give to my best friend for her wedding. The only problem is that I'm just now giving it to her - on their 3rd anniversary! The quilt turned out to be bigger than my good intentions were of hand quilting. Thanks to my Mom and her new snazzy quilting machine, we cheated and finally got it done!

Hey! I didn't know y'all had blog, so glad to have found y'all! =) I was looking over your blog and seeing things that look so familiar...like moving sells, prayer cards, and getting ready to head out to a mission field. I will add y'all to my missionary prayer list! I know that sometimes the future looks scary as a new missionary's wife, but I am here to tell you that God's grace has been sufficient for our family during all of the transitions that missionary life has brought us. =) We're loving serving him in Colombia!
I like y'all's new family pics. I didn't know that y'all had two little boys, too cute.
Also, that is a beautiful quilt that you made. I think I would have had a HARD time giving it away. =) Keep encouraged in Jesus. =)
Love, Heather =)
The quilt is beautiful and I too have used the breast pump in the car. Gets you strange looks from passing SUV's if you drive a small car like mine! :)
wow! nice job on the quilt! What else can you do that we don't know about??
Very pretty quilt. I'm impressed.
As the recipient of the gorgeous quilt, I have to say it's probably the prettiest quilt I've ever seen, much less owned. i keep walking around the house and trying to figure out which room would give it the best exposure to guests, and still be useful as well!!! I certainly did not mind waiting the 3 years for the quilt I'll cherish forever!!!
The quilt is gorgeous. I love the pick of colors, too. Thanks for the smile over the breast pump!
